// 1. Easiness. It's been so hard, it's easy to make things harder, like that's virtuous. It's not.

// 2. Going out. One protest I went to this week became two stories.

// 3. What's illegal v. what's against the law. "...something cannot be illegal if those in power carry it out with impunity, regardless of whether or not it is against the law."

// 4. Archiving something of your own. Such as: "some of Roland Barthes’s handwritten slips of paper for Fragments d’un discours amoureux in refashioned cigar boxes" (via Barthes Studies)

"some of Roland Barthes’s handwritten slips of paper for Fragments d’un discours amoureux in refashioned cigar boxes"

// 5. Attention-setting. "When your enemy wants you disoriented, your ability to focus is an important means of self-defense." - Kelly Hayes, in her newsletter Organizing My Thoughts.

// 6. Talking it out. Technically, this was last week. The episode of Death Panel with Bea, Jules, and me talking out the through-line in some of the executive orders that have come down since January 20th is out now.

// 7. Logging off. As in:

Shot of Donna Hayward as the Sickos guy, climbing out her own window ("Yes... HA HA HA... YES!")
